This is a baby bird or Fledgling that I found in my trash can outside on the afternoon of April 7 2012. And don't worry if any of you are wondering, I took him out of the trash can about 2 minutes after I made this video. Chijik was not able to fly, but, he seems to keep jumping very high and flapping it's wings a bit. His name is Chijik. He seems to keep making high - pitch sounds as if calling for his someone. I took him into my house for 2 days and I put him in a box with: bedding, water, and food. The food I gave him were natural seeds and soft brown bread that had some seeds, and the water I gave him was pure and fresh mountain drinking water. I tried to feed him some food and he didn't eat any. So, I gave him some water and he did not drink any. Chijik didn't drink or eat any food or water we offered him. On the morning of April 9, 2012, my Father opened the door and, Chijik, the fledgling bird flew away, North. For a few minutes Chijik kept flying away until he was a speck in the distance. After about six minutes, my Father and I didn't see him anymore. So, in conclusion, Chijik ended up in my trash can because he was either wounded or still couldn't be or was not ready to fly or we had a nest on our house in which Chijik fell down from or he was hiding from a predator. Whatever the reason, I really liked Chijik and I do miss him.
